Praise for West On 40…

  • “‘Second Album is a Masterpiece’- Oklahoma may not be one of the more famous states but it has produced it’s fair share of musical talent including Patti Page and Reba McEntire. Stacy Sullivan may not attain the level of success those two fine ladies did, although she certainly has the talent. Stacy is capable of singing several different types of music equally brilliantly. In the 1940′s, such versqatility was appreciated (as the popularity of Jo Stafford proved). In today’s market, where American radio stations select a target audience and play music to suit, they do not usually like such versatility-however; Norah Jones has proved that a versatile singer can rise to the top. If you enjoy Norah’s music, give Stacy a listen- she’s even better.”

  • “I absolutely love the new Stacy Sullivan CD “West on 40″. I think everything about it is great-her voice, her performances, the choice of material, the arrangements, the production…fantastic. It’s just sitting in my CD player, accompanying me back and forth to NY. She has a new fan”

  • “West on 40″ is a musical masterpiece! All the influence of her family are here, the theatre, the pop, the country and the cabaret, yielding this smart CD filled with a new kind of energy.”
